Expressive Arts Therapy
Expressive Arts Therapy uses different forms of creative expression: drawing, painting, movement, poetry, imagery, music etc. in the therapeutic process. Using the art and imaginal processes can tap into one's imagination, curiosity, play, and creativity. This can provide a deeper access to one's own healing resources, wisdom, spiritual or archetypal resources, and self expression. This allows potential for greater perspective, problem solving and reshaping ones story and life path. This approach can be very effective when non verbal resources are needed.
